ABOUT US

High Fiber Diet is a group of fiber artists committed to advancing their art professionally. HFD actively searches for exhibit venues, and members have the opportunity to submit work for juried group exhibitions. High Fiber Diet members challenge themselves to become more educated about art and design principles and to improve creatively on an individual basis. The group meets 7 times per year (February, April, May, July, August, October, and November) on the third Tuesday from 1:30pm – 3:30pm. Venues may change and some meetings are held online. Meetings usually include a discussion topic, updates on current and upcoming exhibits, and sharing of members' current work. Bird's Eye View Opening in Camas

The Camas Library is a beautiful building, with a nice gallery on its upper floor. It was the perfect size for our show, Bird's Eye View, and we had a very nice opening reception there on Friday evening, May 7.


Lovely food!

In the interest of full disclosure, this darling little girl is my granddaughter. You will see her in several of the photos. She had a good time finding the photo of a piece in our book, then identifying it on the wall. It's never too soon to foster art appreciation in children!

    The exhibit of Bird's Eye View in Camas was wonderful! The quality of the workmanship and creativity shown took my breath away. The Camas Library was a wonderful venue. I wish I could have gone a second time to see the show.

    Several of us went on Wednesday, May 26 to see the show, and it was very impressive—the space is nice, and the art looked fabulous! Camas also has a picturesque Farmer’s Market on Wednesday afternoons, right next to the library.
