ABOUT US

High Fiber Diet is a group of fiber artists committed to advancing their art professionally. HFD actively searches for exhibit venues, and members have the opportunity to submit work for juried group exhibitions. High Fiber Diet members challenge themselves to become more educated about art and design principles and to improve creatively on an individual basis. The group meets 7 times per year (February, April, May, July, August, October, and November) on the third Tuesday from 1:30pm – 3:30pm. Venues may change and some meetings are held online. Meetings usually include a discussion topic, updates on current and upcoming exhibits, and sharing of members' current work. #OMG That's Fiber? Update

#OMG That’s Fiber? is currently at the Mt. Hood Community College Visual Arts Center.  The reception was on Oct 25 and was well attended by member artists and students.
This exhibit can be viewed Monday-Friday, 9-5PM, through  November 20.

#OMG next venue is Trinity Episcopal Church, 147 NW 19th Ave, Portland.  The reception is on Sunday, January 13, 2019, at 11AM and all HFD members are encouraged to attend.  The exhibit will be at the church till March 3.

#OMG That's Fiber? Opens at Mount Hood Community College

High Fiber Diet's exhibit #OMG That's Fiber? opened at the art gallery at Mount Hood Community College in Gresham, Oregon, on October 25. The exhibit runs through November 20. It's a great show in a exceptional venue. The photos below just give you a taste. Stop by.

Heat Wave Opens at Chehalem Cultural Center

The High Fiber Diet Heat Wave exhibit just opened at the Chehalem Cultural Center in Newberg. Opening reception is Friday, December 7 from 5pm to 9pm. The exhibit will be open through January 5. The reception should be a great event. Some of the CFG Wearables group have created Heat Wave-themed fashion and will be joining the reception to show off their great wearables. Let your friends and family know and come join the fun on December 7.
